Community Development Centre (CODEC) is seeking qualified Bangladeshi professionals for the as a part of project proposal development for a tentative project that will address waste management , promote environmental sustainability, advance climate change adaptation, and strengthen inclusive community engagement in Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, and Tangail.

The Position of the Senior District Coordinator is the key project personnel of this project. He/she will maintain coordination with the Donor. The Senior District Coordinator will be liable for the field-level project implementation. He/she will supervise and monitor the project activities through the proper channel and maintain proper link-up at the city corporation level and other authorities accordingly. He/she will guide the project team in project implementation and provide advisory support. The Senior District Coordinator will report to the Project Focal Person.
The Senior District Coordinator will play a managerial role in implementing project activities in three districts. Responsibilities include:
Lead overall project management, planning, and implementation at the district level, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
Provide managerial oversight and guidance to district teams, ensuring quality delivery of all field activities.
Coordinate and liaise effectively with City Corporations/Municipalities, District Chambers of Commerce, local government bodies, private sector actors, and community stakeholders.
Manage project budgets and resources efficiently, ensuring compliance with financial rules and donor requirements.
Oversee human resource management at the district level, including staff supervision, capacity building, and performance monitoring.
Ensure gender-sensitive, inclusive approaches are applied across all activities, with particular focus on women, youth, and marginalized groups.
Lead progress reporting, both narrative and financial, ensuring timely submission of high-quality reports to the Project Management Unit (PMU).
Facilitate knowledge sharing, problem solving, and adaptive management to address implementation challenges.
