Responsibilities & Context:
Design Leadership: Lead the design process for seasonal collections from concept to final specs, delivering styles that align with brand identity and consumer needs.
Trend & Market Research: Analyze global fashion trends, competitive landscape, fabric innovations, and consumer insights to inform design strategy.
Concept Development: Create seasonal mood boards, color palettes, fabric direction, and silhouette concepts that drive the collection vision.
Technical Design Collaboration: Work with technical designers, patternmakers, and sample rooms to ensure fit consistency, construction quality, and design integrity.
Product Innovation: Explore new materials, trims, washes, and technical features to elevate product performance and aesthetic.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with merchandising, sourcing, and production teams to meet costing targets, timelines, and margin requirements.
Sample Review: Conduct fittings, review prototypes, and communicate clear revisions for sample improvements.
