  • Minimum Graduate in business administration from reputed institution. Preferably PGD in Supply Chain Management.

Responsibilities & Context:

Chittagong Eye Infirmary and Training Complex (CEITC), a tertiary multidisciplinary Institution is looking for eligible personnel.
Job responsibilities:

  • Order supplies, negotiate with vendors and manage the replenishment process for medical consumables and equipment.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee the receipt, storage and issuance of goods.

  • Ensure timely delivery of items to O.T., Wards, Out Patient Department and various departments using requisition systems.

  • Ensure accurate stock reconciliation including receiving, issuance, movement, return and transfer.

  • Analyze stock in hand and forecast requirements based on daily and monthly consumption.

  • Support continuity of operations by resolving issues related to store management.

  • Monitor and ensure monthly cycle counting and support internal & external audits.

  • Check product quality, batch and expiry dates through random sampling at the time of receipt.

  • Oversee smooth receiving of products from suppliers / vendors.

  • Monitor stock movement trends to ensure timely availability of products.

  • Keep accurate documentation and information from suppliers/vendors.

  • Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.

  • Handle complaints and faulty products received from users.
