Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or applied data science, with models deployed in production.
Experience leading or mentoring engineers and driving high technical standards.
Strong foundation in machine learning, deep learning, and applied statistics.
Hands-on experience with frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
Advanced Python skills and solid ML engineering practices (testing, reproducibility, performance).
Ability to take ambiguous problems and turn them into scalable, well-designed solutions.

Nice to Have:
Experience with LLMs, generative AI, or RAG systems in production.
Familiarity with MLOps tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, or Airflow.
Background in NLP, computer vision, or recommendation systems.

We are seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer – Team Lead to design, build, and scale production-grade artificial intelligence systems while leading a high-performing engineering team. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring ownership of the full AI lifecycle, from problem definition and system architecture to model development, deployment, monitoring, and continuous optimization in production environments.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate complex and evolving requirements into scalable, reliable, and measurable AI solutions. This role is ideal for an individual who demonstrates strong technical leadership, a high standard of execution, and a proven ability to deliver robust AI systems to production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of AI/ML engineers and data scientists, setting a high bar for code quality, ownership, and collaboration.

• Design and deliver production-ready AI/ML solutions that solve real business problems at scale.

• Work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to turn requirements into practical and maintainable ML systems.

• Own the end-to-end ML lifecycle, from data and modeling to deployment, monitoring, and iteration.

• Build and maintain scalable ML pipelines for training, inference, monitoring, and retraining.

• Promote best practices around model performance, reliability, interpretability, and responsible AI use.

• Partner with platform and DevOps teams to ensure smooth integration of ML services into production.

• Review code, improve engineering processes, and help evolve development and deployment workflows.

• Stay up to date with new developments in AI/ML and assess what’s worth adopting.
