Experience:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the sample floor – planning, workflow, and team coordination.

• Ensure all samples are delivered on time, meeting buyer standards and technical requirements.

• Work closely with buyers and internal teams to understand tech packs and construction details.

• Provide technical solutions to sampling issues – pattern, fit, or construction-related.

• Supervise pattern development and fitting – both on mannequins and live models.

• Use software like Lectra, Gerber, or CLO 3D for digital pattern making and virtual samples.

• Lead a team of tailors, pattern makers, and fit technicians – training and mentoring where needed.

• Maintain clear records of sample iterations, comments, and approvals.

• Work with merchandising and production teams to ensure a smooth handover from sample to bulk.

• Stay updated with new sampling techniques, materials, and market trends.

• Handle multiple buyer accounts and adapt to varied sampling expectations.

• Responsible for preparing pattern & sample.

• To prepare pattern as per the requirement given by the buyer through merchandiser and ensure timely delivery of pattern and sample.

• In-depth knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and marker efficiency

• Excellent leadership, planning, and team management skills

• Strong communication skills with buyers and cross-functional teams

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with high attention to detail
