∎ Years of Experience: 5-10 years of experience in sales, business development, or market development, preferably in the banking or financial technology sectors.Proven track record of working with financial institutions, particularly in selling technical products like Money sorters or cash-handling equipment.Proven leadership in managing sales teams, achieving targets, and building long-term relationships with key financial clients, with experience selling cash-handling solutions, banknote sorters, or financial equipment to banks and large corporations.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Market Research & Customer Insights: Conduct market research on ATM, Cash Recycling Machine (CRM), and Banknote Sorting Machine sectors in Bangladesh. Identify key banking needs, market gaps, and competitors' offerings. Gather insights from local banks, NBFIs, and financial institutions to align product strategies with market demand.
∎ Sales & Business Development Strategy: Identify potential banking clients, MFS (Mobile Financial Services), and financial service providers. Assist in developing entry strategies to expand the company’s market presence. Explore opportunities in government and private sector banking tenders.
∎ Client Engagement & Relationship Building: Connect with key decision-makers from banks and financial institutions. Maintain strong relationships with procurement teams to ensure long-term partnerships. Work with local distributors and resellers to enhance sales coverage.
∎ Product Demonstration & Technical Coordination: Conduct live demonstrations and presentations for bank officials and financial service providers. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure products meet Bangladesh Bank regulations and financial compliance.
∎ Proposal Development & Negotiation: Prepare and present sales proposals, product documents, and business cases tailored to the Bangladeshi market. Assist in pricing discussions and negotiate deals that align with local financial conditions.
∎ Marketing & Promotion Activities: Work with the marketing team to develop Bangla/English promotional content for digital and offline marketing. Plan and execute targeted campaigns for banks, fintech companies, and financial institutions. Manage social media promotions and engage in digital marketing strategies.
∎ Participation in Banking & Financial Events: Represent the company at banking expos, trade fairs, and industry networking events in Bangladesh. Arrange and participate in seminars, banking summits, and product launches.
∎ Financial Analysis & Pricing Strategies: Conduct a basic cost-benefit analysis to offer competitive pricing. Align pricing models with Bangladeshi banking sector requirements and local purchasing capabilities.
∎ Basic Risk Management & Compliance Support: Ensure the product offerings align with Bangladesh Bank policies and local regulatory guidelines. Identify and manage risks related to product adaptation, competitor threats, and customer satisfaction.
∎ Smart, Quick Learning & Adaptive Approach: The ideal candidate should be smart, tech-savvy, and eager to learn about banking technologies extensive prior experience is required, but basic knowledge of banking products, financial transactions, or fintech trends will be helpful.Must have good communication skills and the ability to present confidently to potential clients.
∎ Other Responsibilities: Support business growth initiatives assigned by management. Assist in day-to-day operations and coordination with other teams for the smooth execution of marketing strategies.
