∎ An opportunity exists for a key leadership role at Maersk Bangladesh. We are on a journey to transform their business in the logistics and transportation industry.
∎ You will be responsible to develop and deliver the commercial strategy for Bangladesh as country based out of Bangladesh covering Lifestyle and apparel in South Asia. You will deliver agreed budgets for multiple products and services with special focus on logistics solutions. You will manage an extensive business portfolio and will drive, coach, upskill and performance manage the large sales channel in South Asia focusing on Bangladesh. Given your extensive experience and gravitas, you should be able to inspire, attract, build, enable and steer a strong and robust sales organization. You will also play a key role in the commercial leadership team in South Asia and together with colleagues around the globe, drive the transformation forward.
∎ The role will entail executive selling and requires in-depth understanding of logistics business across B2B and B2C.

∎ Reporting to the Cuntry Manager Bangladesh, you will be responsible for the commercial and selling activities for the country within South Asia.

∎ Delivery as per Country Target
∎ • Lead and set direction for the Sales Team according to budget – both on delivering volume and growing revenue and optimising profits
∎ • Coach and guide sales team to sell and grow non-ocean activities including supply chain and local products

∎ • Graduation or Post Graduation
∎ • Minimum 8 years’ experience in Sales or Commercial, preferably with 5 years’ in a senior leadership position.
∎ • Senior expertise on logistic products (ocean, contract logistic, warehouse & distribution)
∎ • Knowledge of Bangladesh’s economy dynamics, the local and international market landscape as well as industry trends.
∎ • Self-driven, results-oriented with a proven track record in Sales and leadership.
∎ • Master negotiator; strong networking skills.
∎ • An inspirational leader with excellent coaching and people skills.
∎ • Fluent communication skills in written and spoken English.
∎ • Experience in managing a team of 3 or more
