∎ Ensures the timely delivery of import and export containers utilising
∎ preferred or line-approved routings while providing the highest level
∎ of customer satisfaction. Takes the initiative to improve inland
∎ operation processes and implement methods to drive intermodal in
∎ positioning costs down.
∎ Analyze and perform Cargo Execution
∎ Load list Preparation.
∎ Space Management of SAS & CCA Vessels.
∎ Hazardous, Reefer, OOG manifests.
∎ Management of Terminal, Depots/CFS, Feeder operators & Barge Operators relationships.
∎ Customer oriented cargo solutions e.g. priority loading via relationship with feeder operators & Berth operators.
∎ Priority loading of ICD/Pangaon/Muktarpur bound container from Chittagong Terminal.
∎ Ownership of deadline systems.
∎ Root cause analysis for F1’s and EDI issues.
∎ Handling & updating RKEM & GSIS updates.
∎ Drive cost effectiveness in the cargo execution process.
∎ Process Optimization: Identifies and suggest continuous improvement possibilities in the ways of working.
∎ Manage Operational tasks
∎ Pro-actively reduce waste such as longstanding containers, re-nominations, and cargo non execution loading with priority.
∎ Maintain a thorough understanding of Chittagong Port terminal operations & Inland locations.
∎ Analyze daily performance measurements of data quality, space management & Inland locations.
∎ Prepare feeder & barge schedule daily.
∎ Manage all reporting deadlines.
∎ Maintain close dialogue with terminal operators, feeder operators, barge operators & internal stakeholders.
∎ Perform other duties as assigned
∎ Data Quality & Reports
∎ Ensure clearing all F1 & EDI related error daily.
∎ Keep all stuffing & loading related data.
∎ Maintain non execution file with accurate vessel planning information.
∎ Maintain CFS data & update management accordingly.
∎ Publish Inland Operations report- daily, weekly, monthly & yearly.
∎ Cost Control
∎ Identifies and executes cost reductions through the Smart-OPS processes within the team
∎ Proactive tracking of container dumping to avoid any Inter Terminal Transfer (ITT) cost & attain hook rebate.
∎ Work with internal stakeholders to avoid all sorts of profit leakage.
∎ Clear all longstanding from Inland locations.
∎ Identify & collect all seal breakage cost through collaboration with Cost Controller.
∎ Behavioral cost reductions: storage, quick re-nomination on vessel after dumping at Chittagong Terminal through collaboration with Commercial team.
∎ Relationship Management
∎ Maintain good rapport with SAS HQ (capacity & marine) & LOC teams.
∎ Maintain better collaboration with all internal & external stakeholders.
∎ Eligibility:
∎ B.B.A./B. Com/Hon degree (MBA/Masters preferred)
∎ One to Two years work experience in a transportation field
∎ Experience in one of the following preferred
∎ Inland/ Cargo Execution
∎ Terminal operations
∎ Liner operations
∎ Customer Resource Center experience
∎ Freshers with exceptional qualifications are encouraged to apply.
∎ Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
∎ Good knowledge of Office 365.
∎ Continuous improvement mindset.
