Job Circular: Regional Sales Manager (RSM)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective regional sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets and market share objectives.

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, motivate, and manage a high-performing sales team. Provide continuous coaching and performance feedback.

  • Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities, explore untapped markets, and onboard new distributors and retail partners.

  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key distributors, retailers, and other stakeholders.

  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.

  • Promotions & Campaigns: Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute regional sales promotions and product launch campaigns.

  • Budget Management: Manage regional sales budgets and ensure optimal allocation of resources.

  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective sales and after-sales support.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.

  • Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably in the electronics, gadgets, or consumer durables industry.

  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong understanding of the Bangladeshi market dynamics, distribution channels, and retail landscape.

  • Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

Area Sales Manager (ASM)
