Experience:

• Master’s degree pass, but MPH will be preferred and research experience is highly desirable.

• Candidates should have minimum of 4 to 5 years’ experience in the related field of data collection, monitoring, and staff supervision.
• Good spoken and written English language skills are essential.
• Applicants should have good computer knowledge MS Word, MS Excel, and Kobo Data collection tools.

Job Summary: Responsible for supporting research activities, including planning and conducting field data collection, facilitating interviews and focus group discussions, analyzing data, preparing reports and presentations, and coordinating with internal teams and partner organizations, while ensuring data quality and adherence to ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare field schedules and plans for data collection

• Conduct field data collection and ensure data quality

• Perform data entry and cleaning

• Facilitate and transcribe Focus Group Discussions (FGDs)

• Translate FGD transcripts as needed

• Coordinate with other NGOs for collaborative research

• Communicate with internal departments for research-related tasks

• Submit bills and maintain documentation

• Attend MIS-R monthly meetings and other relevant research meetings

• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor

Additional Research Responsibilities

• Design and pilot data collection tools (e.g., surveys, interview guides)

• Assist in developing research protocols and ethical review submissions

• Conduct literature reviews and background research for project development

• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data using appropriate software (e.g., SPSS, NVivo, Excel)

• Prepare research reports, briefs, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders

• Support dissemination activities such as workshops, seminars, and publications

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of research data and activities

• Ensure compliance with ethical standards and data protection policies

• Collaborate with academic institutions and research partners

• Contribute to proposal writing and grant applications for new research project)

Around Tk. 25,060/- per month gross, equivalent to approximately Tk. 3,45,861 per annum, inclusive of all benefits. The remuneration package includes a provident fund, festival allowance once per year, medical benefits, critical illness and death benefits, and recreation.
