Job Context:
∎ Projahnmo Research Foundation is seeking qualified and motivated applicants from Bangladeshi nationals for the position of Research Fellow for a project with the University of Edinburgh.
∎ Duty station: Dhaka (This position is based on Dhaka but requires to field visits as needed).
∎ Duration of contract: Initially for six months.
∎ Key Contacts/Relationships: The Research Fellow will work closely with the colleagues of Projahnmo Research Foundation, the University of Edinburgh and RESPIRE partners in Bangladesh and other countries.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conceptualising stakeholder engagement activities, planning and conducting Stakeholder Engagement activities and ensuring their sustainability.
∎ Enable/facilitate meaningful involvement of stakeholders (from local communities to policy makers), including those stakeholders seldom reached.
∎ Build excellent working relationships with RESPIRE collaborators in Bangladesh, Edinburgh and RESPIRE partner countries to develop an understanding of SE in the context of healthcare.
∎ Create case studies on stakeholder engagement that can be shared with external audiences.
∎ Organise the annual and quarterly SE reports and share to donor.
∎ Develop a communications plan/media schedule for sharing updates and successes with external audiences, for example through newsletters, social media and press.
∎ Work collaboratively with the three other Bangladesh RESPIRE partners and the RESPIRE Communications & Engagement Officer at the University of Edinburgh to strengthen internal communication within Bangladesh partners and the wider RESPIRE network.

∎ Essential Criteria:
∎ Experience of stakeholder engagement related activities, research implementation and/or policy engagement
∎ High quality communication skills - both written and spoken in English and Bangla
∎ Strong relationship building, interpersonal 'people' skills
∎ A collaborative, partnership approach to working and developing relationships
∎ Desirable Criteria:
∎ Project management qualification
∎ Publication and/or report writing experience
∎ Knowledge of health sector/respiratory health
∎ Multicultural/ multiregional/multilingual awareness, empathy

Salary:
∎ Consolidate Taka 35,000 per month.
