Experience:

• 5 to 8 years

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Food & Nutrition
• Master of Science (MSc) in Food & Nutrition
• Master of Science (MSc) in Public Health

• BSc in nutrition related subject;
• MPH/ Masters in related subject will be given preference.

• Age At most 45 years

• Minimum 5 to 8 years’ experience as a research officer or higher with experience in data collection, including field logistics, quality control, and data management.
• Proficiency in Kobo/ODK required.
• Applicants for all positions should have good computer knowledge, especially in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, internet & email writing and excellent spoken and written English language skills are essential, as well as the ability to produce quality reports.

There are vacancies for the following contractual positions under the Community Health and Development Program (CHDP) for Management of Malnutrition in Infants under 6 months (MAMI) Project, with two years project duration.

Job Summary: Responsible for achieving assigned tasks & objectives defined for the project through organizational values, principles, cultures, and policies in efficient, effective & quality manner. Responsible for monitoring the research project data collection, data management, and evaluation. Close monitoring & maintain data accuracy & data quality. Communication with field research staffs for uninterrupted, quality data. Capacity building for the data collection team and the MIS staff. Intense work with MIS-Research staff & other research, MAMI project team staff. Also functionally linkage with London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), Emergency Nutrition Network (ENN), Senegal MAMI team. Co-ordinates data collection, management, and data quality. Ensures that analysis-ready data is sent to London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM).
