Minimum Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental Science/Environmental Management/Environmental Engineering/Forestry/Zoology/Botany/ from any reputed national or international university.

Additional Qualification:

• A comprehensive comprehension of environmental science, laws, and regulations;

• Identify issues and recommend solutions by collecting, analyzing, and reporting on environmental data, including water, air, noise, sediment and soil quality;

• Have the ability to perform environmental monitoring and surveillance;

• Conduct environmental audits, examinations, and impact assessments to evaluate the environmental impacts of industry operations and development activities;

• Possess sound knowledge and relevant experience in floral/faunal inventory, plant taxonomy, vegetation monitoring, benthic survey, and relevant protocols;

• Possess the ability and proven experience in forest survey, forest health monitoring and related data collection, above and below ground biomass calculation, floral diversity analysis, soil texture and nutrient analysis etc.;

• Possess experience in ecosystem services assessment and its valuation, habitat risk assessment and collection of related data-information as well as process and analyze quantitative and qualitative data using standard software and protocols;

• Excellent written and verbal communication to convey technical information to diverse audiences;

• Candidates must be able to perform extensive fieldwork and multitask;

• Candidates must have the commitment to serve CEGIS for a long-term period;

• Fluency in English is required for composing reports and communicating with clients;

• Basic knowledge of spatial data processing using QGIS/ArcGIS;

• A proactive approach and a positive perspective are required, as well as a "can-do" attitude.

Other Conditions:

• Age must not exceed 32 years as of the last date of application submission (Age limit will be relaxed for the candidate working in CEGIS);

• Experience in ESIA/SEA and biodiversity assessment, ecological modelling, and modelling experiences in water, air and noise.
