Educational Requirements:
∎ BSc. Nursing or Diploma in Paramedics or related subject from any reputed institution with a valid certificate.

∎ Projahnmo Research Foundation (PRF) in association with Johns Hopkins University, USA has a long and illustrious history of conducting research in Bangladesh. PRF`s research has contributed to the improvement of health of Bangladeshi citizens and has supported the career development of numerous Bangladeshi public health professionals. Projahnmo Research Foundation is seeking qualified and motivated applicants from Bangladeshi nationals for the position of Research Assistant.
∎ Duty station: Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Ad-Din Women`s Medical College Hospital, Institute of Maternal and Child Health and Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital, or any other hospital assigned by the management.
∎ The appointment will be made on a fixed-term basis.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assessment of all pregnant women admitted to the study hospitals as per the study protocol.
∎ Obtain informed consent and enroll eligible pregnant women as per the study protocol.
∎ Perform anthropometric measurements of enrolled mothers and neonates.
∎ Work closely with hospital nurses to ensure accurate and timely administration of trial drugs.
∎ Complete data collection forms and study logs following the study protocol and SOPs.
∎ Conduct regular phone follow-ups to all enrolled participants after hospital discharge.
∎ Visit other non-study hospitals to collect clinical data of the enrolled women and the neonates, where needed.
∎ Perform home follow-up visits and assess the woman and her child, record findings.
∎ Monitor temperature log of trial drugs as per protocol.
∎ Perform timely data entry in the study data management system.
∎ Maintain, organize, and archive all study-related documents, such as data collection forms, study logs, patient clinical records, etc.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Candidates having working experience in research will be given preference
∎ Computer skill in MS word, excel, and data entry
∎ Ability to work at night, including weekends and holidays
∎ Willing to perform home visits of enrolled participants
∎ Knowledge of ethical guidelines
∎ Should be able to work with a team
∎ Should be able to communicate effectively
∎ Should have the drive to learn and solve problems
∎ Good organization skills

Salary:
∎ Tk. 20046 (Monthly)
∎ 20,046/- per month, including house rent and conveyance allowance and other admissible benefits.

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ 12% retirement fund contribution by PRF will be given as per organizational policy.
