Responsibilities & Context:

Esquire Knit Composite PLC invites applications from skilled Quality Management professionals with strong expertise in knit garments to oversee end-to-end quality assurance, AQL standards, ensuring buyer requirements and buyer compliance to lead and strengthen factory-wide quality assurance systems.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Quality Management Systems (QMS) in line with buyer requirements and ISO standards.
  • Ensure compliance with AQL (1.5 / 2.5), buyer manuals, and factory SOPs.
  • Prepare and maintain quality reports, KPIs, and continuous improvement plans.
  • Control quality at all stages: fabric inspection, cutting, sewing, printing, embroidery, washing, finishing, and packing.
  • Conduct inline, end-line, and final inspections to ensure shipment readiness.
  • Identify root causes of defects and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Coordinate buyer quality inspections, pre-production meetings (PPM), and final audits.
  • Ensure readiness for buyer audits, social compliance audits, and internal quality audits.
  • Communicate effectively with buyers regarding quality issues, approvals, and improvements.
  • Lead, train, and develop QA/QC team including inspectors, supervisors, and auditors.
  • Conduct regular quality training for sewing operators and production staff.
  • Monitor team performance and ensure discipline and accountability.
  • Reduce rework, alteration, and rejection rates through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work closely with IE, Production, and Technical teams to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Implement Lean and defect-prevention tools (6S, PDCA, Kaizen).
