• Implement and monitor the factory’s quality management system for woven garments.

• Prepare and update SOPs, work instructions, and quality standards as per buyer requirements.

• Ensure AQL inspection procedures are followed at all production stages.

• Participate in risk assessment and pre-production meetings.

• Oversee fabric inspection using the 4-point system and approve fabric for cutting.

• Ensure proper shade band approvals and color consistency.

• Verify trims, accessories, and embellishments before issuing to production.

• Supervise and guide Line QCs throughout the sewing lines.

• Conduct random inline audits to identify defects early and prevent bulk issues.

• Monitor end-line inspection and ensure defect levels do not exceed acceptable limits.

• Confirm measurements and workmanship as per tech pack, sample, or buyer guidelines.

• Ensure finishing quality standards for appearance, measurements, and packing.

• Conduct pre-final and final inspections as per buyer or third-party standards.

• Approve final goods for shipment after ensuring quality compliance.

• Identify frequent defects and prepare Corrective Action Plans (CAP).

• Work with production, cutting, and IE teams to eliminate root causes of quality issues.

• Follow up on the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

• Supervise QC Inspectors, Line QCs, and Final Auditors.

• Conduct periodic training on defect identification, measurement accuracy, and inspection techniques.

• Monitor team performance and maintain discipline in the QC department.

• Coordinate closely with production, merchandising, and technical departments.

• Communicate buyer comments, special requirements, and quality instructions to the QC team.

• Liaise with buyer QC/QA for inspections, approvals, and audits.

• Maintain inspection reports, audit files, CAP records, and quality logs.

• Prepare daily and weekly quality performance reports.

• Track defect trends and report critical issues to the management.
