Responsibilities & Context:
Job Responsibilities
Oversee the quality assurance process for Knit, Woven, and Sweater categories to ensure top-end product quality and on-time delivery.
Conduct pre-production (PP) meetings with production, merchandising, and quality teams at factories.
Visit factories regularly to monitor current production, quality standards, and compliance practices.
Ensure strict adherence to buyer technical requirements and compliance protocols.
Lead QA teams to identify, analyze, and resolve quality issues proactively.
Review samples, inline and final inspections, ensuring AQL standards are consistently met.
Coordinate closely with customer technical teams and manufacturers for approvals and corrective actions.
Train and mentor QA staff, promoting continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Maintain excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders to achieve desired quality outcomes.
Additional RequirementsExperience: 5 – 8 years’ Quality / Technical experience in reputed manufacturing or buying office operations (Knit & Woven categories).
Proven record of handling high-end customers, fast-turnaround programs, and diverse fabrics with strict QA standards.
Hands-on communication experience with customer technical teams and manufacturers.
Strong knowledge of QA techniques, garment performance testing, AQL auditing, productivity improvement, and garment construction.
Excellent leadership and team management skills with a focus on motivation and accountability.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to identify issues early and take corrective measures.
Excellent communication in Bangla and English (written & verbal).
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) as well as ChatGPT and Canva.
Well-groomed, proactive, energetic, and detail-oriented.
Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and discretion.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
