Experience:
Graduate or Master’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Must have experience in the following areas:
Apparel Manufacturing Process.
Quality Management System (QMS).
Technical Audit.
4-5 years of experience in a similar position.
Strong leadership, team management, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
Ability to supervise and inspire team members.
Good communication skills in both English and Bengali (oral and written)·
Proficient in computer skills.
Ability to work under pressure and complete tasks within a preset timeframe.
Good interpersonal and leadership qualities.
Must be a Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 & 2015.
Responsibilities and Context
Follow up, monitor, and supervise QMS requirements.
Successfully implement QMS throughout the entire manufacturing unit, from warehouse to shipment.
Lead quality control and management systems in cutting, sewing, sampling, and finishing.
Train all quality inspectors and staff on basic quality requirements, quality concepts, and quality policy.
Experience in Quality (QMS) in a renowned woven garments company.
Develop quality SOPs and quality manuals for effective quality management.
Ensure Total Quality Management, Implementation, and Continual Improvement.
Implement all technical requirements of the buyer for technical audits.
Conduct internal QMS/Technical Audits and collaborate with section heads for improvements.
Maintain all quality documentation and SOPs.
Manage and monitor trims and accessories inspection department and collaborate with the merchandising team to reduce defects from suppliers.
Manage and monitor the sample department to ensure timely submission, quality, and necessary changes for better productivity and quality.
Manage and monitor the quality departments of Cutting, Sewing, Sample, and Finishing sections.
Implement appropriate quality procedures in every section and allocate manpower accordingly.
Regularly train the QC/QA team to consistently follow quality SOPs and ensure continuous improvement.
Work with buyers (Bestseller, Primark, C&A & JC Penney) to understand their quality requirements and be present during audits.
Report all types of Quality Metrics and KPIs.
Conduct technical and quality seminars and coaching sessions.
Manage technical files and document control for each department in the factory.
Implement a traffic light system in the sewing line to track and control operator-wise defects.
