∎ Graduate from a reputed University. Preference shall be given to candidates with additional certification from Garment manufacturing and Diploma in Textile Technology and Quality monitoring institutions.

∎ At least 15 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ A reputed Buying Office is looking for a suitable candidate for the position of QA Manager.
∎ Job Location: Anywhere in Bangladesh. Will be required to travel to Laundries and Factories on regular basis.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure quality assurance and control systems are implemented, maintained and improved in order to assure the quality of products as per clients' standards and requirements and to meet KPIs set by the company
∎
∎ Take appropriate action to ensure that required quality standards are maintained through the process to prevent the recurrence of similar issues
∎ Set appropriate quality standards and tolerances (within acceptable limits) with regards to raw material and production quality so as to exceed customer expectations in the most effective manner
∎ Communicate all quality-related decisions and issues effectively to all relevant internal and external parties, customers and suppliers) to assure the consistency of standards, and providing quality related information to the required persons and the management to facilitate decision making
∎ Ensure Quality Management System (QMS) tool is in place & working monitor inspection of raw materials and accessories of the garment and durability testing in terms color & quality with Statistical Process Control (SPC) Tool
∎ Monitor to identify loopholes during dyeing, cutting, sewing, assembling, washing, finishing and packing stage of garment in terms of quality measurement [Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Observed quality Level (OQL). Cost of Poor Quality {COPQ)
∎ Supervise inline quality & quantity check as per production order
∎ Recommend and take corrective actions against deviations and follow up accordingly
∎ Monitor random inspection at final stage
∎ Oversee the day-to-day functions with QA, PD, Merchandising, Planning and Design B Development department to ensure buyer compliance
∎ Management of client/buyer in case of any non-conforming products
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 15 years of Experience in Quality Assurance.
∎ Basic knowledge of garment patterns.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
∎ Garments, Garments Accessories, Fabric, Garment Washing, AQL Standards.
∎ Should have proven Leadership & coordination skills.
∎ Should be self-motivated, sincere and hard working.
∎ English and Bengali proficiency (Written and spoken) is required.
∎ Computer literacy is must.
