Job Context:
∎ As a psychologist, you will be responsible for providing standard mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) care and non-drug treatments to complicated mental disorder in RI`s COVID 19 Hospital. Ensure RI protection program is integrated with MHPSS according to IASC and another inter-agency standard.
∎ Reporting to: Medical-in-Charge

∎ Expected Start Date: ASAP
∎ Contract length: Up to December 31, 2020.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide standard mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) care and non-drug treatments to complicated mental disorder to child case and GBV survivors.
∎ Conduct MH assessment to complicated mental disorder to child case and GBV survivors which required by RI case management officers.
∎ Provide MPHSS care and non-drug treatment to child case and GBV survivors who present complicated mental health and psychological distress which required by RI case management officers
∎ Closely collaborate with RI case management officers
∎ Maintain confidential of case filing system
∎ Ensure all cases information be kept in highest confidential
∎ Ensure safety of cases information sharing
∎ Maintain all cases filing in locked system
∎ Conducted training to RI protection staffs and volunteers in topics relevant to MHPSS
∎ Reporting to Protection Manager biweekly report and monthly report or as requirement
∎ Represent RI in interagency coordination eg; MHPSS working group
∎ IPC Management
∎ Ensure proper donning and doffing of PPE items.
∎ Conduct proper triage, early recognition and source control
∎ Supervise instrument processing
∎ Monitor waste management in the hospital
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 1 years' experience in mental health and psycho-social programming (in refugee context is preferable)
∎ Experience working in the Humanitarian context and emergencies
∎ Good knowledge of and experience in using established inter-agency and Donor standards and guidelines in MHPSS.
∎ Cultural awareness and sensitivity, prior experience in Rohingya camps is preferable
∎ Strong background and skills in facilitating trainings, coaching and mentoring others
∎ Familiarity with CP minimum standard and GBV guiding principle
∎ Competency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel
∎ Ability to communicate clearly and sensitively in written and spoken English. Chittagonian speaking capacity will be a strong plus.

Salary:
∎ As per RI National Pay Scale Policy in Bangladesh

∎ Severance (8.33% of the monthly basic salary) goes with the monthly release of the salary.
