Experience:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering

• BSc in Civil Engineering or equivalent to the similar Degree.

• At least 5 years

• Age At least 25 years

• Minimum 03 Years of working experience in the shelter & Site Development relevant field in the Rohingya Camp.
• Professional experience in different shelters and site development in the humanitarian context.
• Basic computer knowledge of Auto CAD, MS office applications.
• Good communication and networking skills both in Bangla & English.
• Fluency in Local language will get preferences.

The key purpose of this position is to carry out the duties and responsibilities of ‘Project Officer- Technical ‘to ensure the effective implementation of Shelter interventions maintaining the highest possible level of standards and quality by ensuring necessary support to the project and utilizing resources for implementation. In this circumstance, the organization is looking for a qualified individual to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the Shelter and Site Development Services.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Project Management in planning, information management services, reporting, monitoring, and documentation of the project.
• Collect, update, and disseminate all kinds of information management-related products produced by relevant clusters, UN, and other agencies.
• Design necessary data collection ensuring the purpose and the use of the data.
• Prepare the drawing, Design and BOQ of the Shelter, Road, drain and Slope protection work and prepare work plan for the same.
• Collect the condition of the sector related facilities, identify gap based on the data collection, and planning as per the need.
• Support and train the field teams on collecting data, documenting, and reporting to the project manager.
• Organize and maintain GIS data of all shelter related facilities of targeted area in accordance with the relevant data management protocols.
• Provide the necessary support to the management in presenting the relevant data and information.
• Develop different kinds of quality documentations, progress report on monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Attend various internal and external meetings and respond to questions and inquiries from various individuals, groups, and organizations regarding shelter and site development issues.
• Perform any other related duties or responsibilities that may be assigned by the project team.
