Job Responsibilities:
∎ The position will be responsible for planning, budgeting, and implementing all the activities related to the project in line with the results. The position will be the key person of project deliverable on the ground;
∎ Provide professional and technical support to project staffs;
∎ Regular and frequent field visit to find out possibilities, identify problems, assess and follow-up activities being implemented and provide appropriate suggestion to field staffs;
∎ Facilitate Federations to identify, mobilize and establish the rights of the poor, marginalized and vulnerable community in local government resources, conducting Union based PRA and CAP;
∎ Aware and sensitize mass people by organizing training, orientation and lots of capacity development initiatives. So that the program participants can engage in public service mechanism which helps them to get better public services;
∎ Facilitate coordination and collaborative approach to create common understanding among government administrations, elected local bodies and mass people. So that, mass people will get proper service from service delivery institutions;
∎ Facilitate Union Parishad and selected institutions in promoting participatory planning, budgeting and monitoring process by engaging rights holders;
∎ Facilitate workshop, orientation, campaign, gathering, day observance, exchange/ exposure visits etc.
∎ Facilitate for Federation for capacity building of women leaders, alternative leadership of Federations & Forum leader etc.
∎ Promote good governance through follow up/ checking of federation's activities, participatory planning, leadership development etc.
∎ Facilitate process to ensure regular activities of Union Federation's such as meeting, local
∎ resource mobilization, focusing the excluded and indigenous community by the Union Federations etc.
∎ Assist Federations to enhance of Social networking and effective communications with GoB and /NGos, including Up, Department of Social Services, Department of Youth Development, etc. for resource mobilizations (safety-net & others);
∎ Prepare quarterly progress report, event-based report, case study, special feature as per the requirement of the project;
∎ Monitor and evaluate project progress to reach the target within the life of the project;
∎ Maintain necessary liaison with donor and government line agencies in connection with project activities, information sharing and field implementation;
∎ Facilitate interactive meetings with different service providers;
∎ Prepare quarterly and annual financial report and variance also narrative report and send to donor and RDRS management;
∎ Maintain day-to-day management for ensuring the staff members to abide by the rules and regulations of the organization;
∎ Conduct staff appraisal and design necessary action plan for staff development and implement it accordingly;
∎ The Project Officer will be responsible for doing everything to make the project successful.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 03 years working experience in Development Sector.
∎ Sound Knowledge on CBO formation and its dynamism;
∎ Capable of preparing narrative and numerical report in English;
∎ Excellent computer skills (MS word, Excel and Power Point);
∎ Good interpersonal communication skills and command over English and Bangla both spoken and written.
∎ Training organization and facilitation;
∎ Must have valid motor cycle driving license.
Salary: Tk. 35406 (Monthly)
