Experience:
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Social Science, Economics, Rural Development, Veterinary Science, and Livestock.·
Preferable – Master`s Degree in a relevant field.

At least 2 years of technical experience working on the same theme, preferably in a development and humanitarian context.
Experience in training (material development, training facilitation) and coaching of beneficiaries and on-the-job capacity building of community workers/volunteers.
Experience and comprehensive understanding of disability issues, awareness-raising, and training material development/training implementation.
Experience in local inclusive development/CBR/disability rights/support OPD is preferred.
Proven analytical and planning skills.
Knowledge of disability and development issues in Bangladesh.
Have the capacity to maintain close relationships with partners, stakeholders, and clients.
Experience in contributing to data collection and indicator tracking within development projects or programs.
Computer knowledge (MS office package- both in English and Bangla).
Working experience in Rohingya Camps and host communities in Ukhiya/Teknaf of Cox’s Bazar is a must.
Working experience in an inclusive livelihood/poverty graduation project will add extra value for the candidate.
Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written Bangla and English.
Ability to work under pressure and in a multicultural team environment.
Availability to travel to remote areas and spend time at the field level.

Line Manager: Senior Project Manager
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Project Officer-Livelihood will provide day-to-day management of his/her part of the FCDO Resilience and Adaptation Fund (RAF) project in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. The Project Officer-Livelihood will support the design, implementation, and monitoring of livelihood interventions targeting both Rohingya refugees and host communities in Cox’s Bazar. The position will contribute to enhancing self-reliance, skills development, income-generating opportunities, and resilience-building, while ensuring conflict sensitivity, gender equity, and alignment with humanitarian and development standards.

Mission 1: Operational implementation
Responsibility 1: Contribute to project planning and implementation in line with the existing frameworks
Conduct personalized livelihood assessments for target beneficiaries, including household/business plans, and ensure regular updates to plans based on the progress towards graduation of the household.
Support the planning, coordination, and implementation of livelihood activities (e.g., vocational training, cash-for-work, small business development, value chain strengthening, and market-based interventions).
Provide technical assistance to partners, community-based groups, and beneficiaries to ensure quality and sustainable livelihood outcomes.
Ensure integration of cross-cutting themes such as gender, youth empowerment, disability inclusion, and environmental sustainability.
Conduct field visits to monitor activities, provide feedback, and ensure accountability and adherence to project objectives.
Provide necessary support leading the planned Pilot Workshop establishment at the refugee community for Repair, Recycling, and Local Production of Assistive Devices and Consumables.
Provide necessary guidance in the operation and management of this Pilot Workshop coordinating with respective stakeholders.
Facilitate the development of income and oversee the provision of income generation, through the identification of vulnerable households and support to facilitation of their small business planning.
Support skill development of beneficiary households, through the identification of training needs, planning, organization, and facilitation of training, and/or identification of external training providers
Oversee the process of selection of assets by beneficiary households, participate in asset procurement, ensure asset delivery, and complete documentation
Ensure respect for HI technical policies, methods, and approaches in order to ensure quality during project implementation, in linkage with the Technical Unit with the support of the SPM
Personalized support for an individual person with a disability to choose and participate in their suitable skill-training options.
Deliver training sessions on vocational skills, entrepreneurship, and small business management tailored to local context and market demand.
Mentor and guide youth, women, and vulnerable groups, especially persons with disabilities, to strengthen their employability and income-generating skills.
Responsibility 2: Contribute to project monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning
Support to ensure indicators tracking related to the progress of beneficiaries towards disability inclusion.
Collect, analyze, and document beneficiary data, progress, and lessons learned in coordination with MEAL teams.
Assist in the development of case studies, success stories, and learning documents.
Prepare timely and accurate activity reports, feeding into donor and organizational requirements.
Participate in monthly coordination meetings for ensuring better coordination for smooth project implementation.
Participate in Knowledge Management and biannual learning sharing/knowledge management reports will be produced by the project team based on monitoring findings, collected stories/case studies/good practices, and consultation with local stakeholders.
Responsibility 3: Ensure project data management
Ensure that the appropriate data collection and management tools are in place and are used correctly on the project, in line with global standards, with the support of respective SPMs/TSs.
Contribute to the development and roll-out of monitoring tools, data collection, and report writing.
Conduct and maintain beneficiary files related to livelihood assessments and household business plans.
Collect and compile project-related data in the relevant database.
Medical Coverage: Staff and dependents will get general/outpatient, hospitalization, dental, and optical medical insurance facilities as per the HI policy.
Maternity Coverage: Staff & dependents will get maternity medical coverage facilities per the HI policy.
