Job Context:
∎ Location: Field based (Ukhiya, Cox`s Bazar)
∎ Reports to: Project Manager Disaster Risk Reduction
∎ Nature of Job: Full time (from September to December 2021)
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years professional experience of working in Natural Resources Management, ecological restoration
∎ Good understanding of the Rohingya crisis and previous working experience in the camps will be an advantage.
∎ Good quality written and presentation skills in English.
∎ Motivation and commitment to humanitarian ideals and values of ICCO Cooperation.Interest in involvement beyond the job assigned, i.e. active involvement in ICCO ethos.
∎ Energy and stamina to withstand long working hours in often stressful conditions.
∎ Ability to work in a fluid situation, and adapt or change priorities according to changing situations.
∎ Ability to capitalize on past experience, existing networks and information existing (both internal and external to ICCO) in order to become self-sufficient quickly
∎ Ability to take initiative where appropriate to deal with difficulties encountered in dailywork
∎ Target oriented approach
