Job Responsibilities:
∎ Project Officer will play a lead role in developing Activity Plan and Detailed Implementation Plan for each year and update quarterly.
∎ Regular organize project meeting and gathering like: bi-monthly fisher-folk coordination committee (CC) meeting, monthly Project Review and Planning meeting with Field Facilitators and volunteers, day observation (fish week, int. women's day, Human rights and Violence prevention Day) etc.
∎ Provide proper guideline to field facilitator in program implementation and responsible for project activity of two Upazilla.
∎ Network and relation build up with local government and administration
∎ Arrange day observation, public hearing, school program, AIGA program and different meetings and workshop.
∎ Help in monitoring documentation to project coordinator
∎ Manage active support in field assessment and monitoring visits from the part of donor and other officials.
∎ Maintain implementation and reporting standards and overseeing the work at different level.
∎ Ensuring that program activities are implemented according to established program principles with adequate community participation.
∎ Organize consultation workshop with local administration (Upazilla) on fisher-folk's right
∎ Provide adequate direction and support to the field level staff to ensure effective coordination at that level.
∎ Organize advocacy workshop for updating fisherman list, getting government support on ban seasons and safety net
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
Salary: Tk. 25000 (Monthly)
