Job Context:
∎ Society for Health Extension and Development (SHED), a National NGO, in partnership with a UN agency is going to implement "ENHANCING RESILIENCE OF ROHINGYA REFUGEES THROUGH SKILLS AND EMPLOYMENT IN BHASANCHAR" project in Bhasan Char, Hatia, Noakhali. For effective and efficient implementation of the project, SHED invites interested and potential candidates to apply for the above-mentioned position. ∎ Job Location: Bhasan Char, Hatia, Noakhali
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall responsibility of planning, implementation, monitoring and coordination of project activities;
∎ Drafting annual, quarterly and monthly plans, budget and reports;
∎ Provide technical guidance to, and mobilize logistic supports for, and supervise the project staff for effective implementation of project activities;
∎ Day to day follow-up and tracking of project progress;
∎ Guide the project team in organizing communities and support community based organizations for their organizational and technical capacity building;
∎ Management capacity development of project staffs and volunteers through mentoring and coaching;
∎ Drafting the capitalization documents on project achievements;
∎ Coordination and maintain liaison with government bodies and key stakeholders;
∎ Facilitate market linkage and other product promotion activities of the beneficiaries through coordinating with internal and external market actors.
∎ Submit necessary report and meet necessary information request to FSS and LSD sector;
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor/management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 05 years' working experience in any National/International NGO;
∎ At least 02 years' experience in similar position.
∎ Familiar with bio-physical and socio-economic condition of Cox's Bazar region;
∎ Skills in project cycle management;
∎ Basic understanding on Livelihood framework, Vocational skills development, enhancing resilience of vulnerable people including Disaster Risk Reduction;
∎ Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point);
∎ Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bengali;
∎ Pro-active and participatory decision-making and problem-solving;
∎ Ability to communicate with people from different cultures and backgrounds;
Salary:
∎ BDT 80,000 per month (all inclusive)
