• Professionalism – A solid background in project work and the ability to work autonomously, take initiative and be proactive. Conscientious and efficient in meeting commitments, observing deadlines, and achieving results.
• Communication – Strong analytical and communication (spoken, written, presentational) skills, including the ability to summarize and clearly present complex issues, as well as to support a fruitful dialogue with the Government and Civil society, conducive to the implementation of the program. He/She has demonstrated skills in communicating with people from different backgrounds.
• At least 5 years experience in rights and governance interventions and reporting.
• Partnership management and working experience with government, NGOs, and Private agencies.
• Experience in networking and advocacy.
• Experience in organizing and facilitating meetings.
• Familiar with donor programs
• Knowledge and experience in Program planning and activities
• Knowledge and experience in supervision, budgeting, monitoring, and reporting
• Good command of English
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Office, Excel, PowerPoint, internet access, etc.
• Strong report writing skills to clearly articulate the issues of interest
• Strong organizational management skills
• Ability to work independently, under pressure, and deliver on time
• Proven ability to work as a team member
• Proven commitment to gender equality, child rights, safeguarding, and disability

RDRS Bangladesh is inviting application for the position of Project Manager for its USAID Ain Shohayota Activity Project - Democracy International. This position will be based in Rangpur.

A. Responsibilities :

• Supervise, implement, and deliver the project activities as per the work plan;

• Coordinate and provide support to the management for overall project implementation;

• Conducting all sorts of monitoring of the project; producing and submitting project progress reports;

• Maintain regular communication with RDRS head office and donors;

• Represent the program at meetings, workshops, and seminars with stakeholders for effective networking, dialogue, and advocacy with District and Upazila level Legal Aid Committee;

• Coordinate and conduct orientations for different stakeholders;

• Organize events/orientations/meetings/ sensitization sessions at the District and Upazila level with the support of Field officers;

• To contact with other team members of the project as and when required;

• To meet as required with the Judiciary, Administration, Police, District Legal Aid Committee, Lawyers, Health Department, Women and Children Affairs Department, Social Welfare Department, and other Institutions of the Justice System to implement project activities smoothly and effectively;

• To carry out other activities as and when required by the Project Coordinator (Legal Aid & WR)/ Project Focal.

• Attend to additional tasks assigned by management

B. Tasks

• Maintain close relations, network, and coalition with the government, NGOs, and development partners;

• Ensure a polite and successful interface with all partner organizations, Field Officers, Finance Officers, and other stakeholders

• Monitor the ongoing activities and take necessary corrective measures.

• Ensure appropriate documentation and information flow among all outcomes.

• Attend different meetings, workshops, and other events.

Gender Sensibility- Knowledge of Gender and organizational Gender Policy and act accordingly

Child Protection Policy - Knowledge of Child Development and organizational Child Protection Policy and act accordingly

HIV AIDS, COVID-19 Awareness - Knowledge of HIV / AIDS, and COVID-19 and disseminate information to program participants and community for awareness raising and prevention. Show positive attitude towards people living with HIV / AIDS, and COVID-19 maintaining safety measures.

Teamwork– Strong ability to work in a team and be supportive of others’ efforts and work
