Job Context:
∎ RDRS Bangladesh is inviting applications to fill up the position of "Project Manager" under Promoting Peace and Justice (PPJ) Project. The position is based at Lalmonirhat.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise, implement and deliver the project activities as per work plan;
∎ Coordinate and provide Support to the management for overall project implementation;
∎ Conducting all sorts of monitoring of the project; produce and submit project progress report;
∎ Maintain regular communication with RDRS headquarter and donors;
∎ Represent the program at meetings, workshops, seminars with stakeholders for effective networking, dialogue and advocacy with District and Upazila level Legal Aid Committee;
∎ Coordinate and conduct orientations for different stakeholders;
∎ Organize events/orientations/meetings/ sensitization session at the District and Upazila level with the support of Field officers;
∎ To contact with other team members of the project as and when required;
∎ To meet as required with the Judiciary, Administration, Police, District Legal Aid Committee, Lawyers, Health Department, Women and Children Affairs Department, Social Welfare Department and other Institutions of Justice System in order to implement project activities smoothly and effectively;
∎ To carryout other activities as and when required by Senior Manager and Focal of Women’s Rights Unit.
∎ Attend to additional tasks assigned by management;
∎ Maintain close relations, network and coalition with the government, NGOs and development partners;
∎ Ensure a polite and successful interface with all partner organizations, Field Officer, Finance Officer and other stakeholders;
∎ Monitor the ongoing activities and take necessary corrective measures.
∎ Ensure appropriate documentation and information flow among all outcomes.
∎ Attend different meeting, workshop and other events.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 05 (five) years' working experience in development area especially on legal rights;
∎ Familiar with Donor Programs;
∎ Familiar with Community awareness and motivation;
∎ Knowledge and experience on Program planning , activities and Project Cycle.
∎ Knowledge and experience on supervision, budgeting, monitoring and reporting;
∎ Good Command in English.
Salary: Tk. 47250 (Monthly)
