Additional Requirements: Knowledge of dealing with victims of trauma/trafficking and aftercare procedures
Knowledge of relevant local law and acts
Problem solving and trouble shooting skills
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to deal tactfully and build effective relationships with people across levels, both internally and externally
Good computer skills specifically MS Office as well as familiarity with inter/intranet, Google Drive etc.
Strong verbal and written communication as well as documentation and reporting skills in English and Bangla
Proactive and self-motivated
Ability to think on their feet / level-headed / calm personality
Honesty and integrity
Willingness to travel 60% of the time
Victim centric with a high degree of empathy and compassion
Responsibilities & Context: Job context:
- Lead the project team to implement a holistic program of care and protection of victims who are trafficked internally
- Liaise and network with a range of relevant external stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of the project
Job Responsibilities:
- Overall Accountability
- Manage the project team and support the project implementation process
- Establish a progress tracking mechanism to ensure full oversight
- Establish budgetary control over the project expenditures
- Strategy and risk analysis to ensure regulatory and organizational compliance during project implementation
- Measure project performance and practice adaptive management to appropriately respond to the project need
- Create an enabling working environment for the team to work in
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Maintain professional relationship with staff of the government homes, private aftercare facilities, and other relevant organizations
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Evaluate Individual Care Plans (ICP) for all victims in coordination with counsellors and other relevant team members to support successful reintegration of the victims
- Support the wrap around services for the victims, including crisis management at all levels
- Prepare reports of the project for different purposes and assist the Monitoring and Learning Manager
- Develop a healthy rapport with victims within boundaries
- Maintain and update Case Management (CM) sheet from aftercare staff and generate report thereby
- Network with government officials, NGOs, Tribunals and other relevant stakeholders to strengthen organization's work
- Represent the organization to external stakeholders as and when required
- Assist the senior leadership as and when necessary
- Documentation:
- Project quantitative and qualitative reports, periodic narrative reports
- Contribute to annual reports
