- PMP Certification (preferred). At least 6 to 7 years of experience as a Project Manager in the engineering and construction sector.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to specification.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Report writing and presentation skills using best available tools.
Responsibilities & Context:
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, defining project goals, objectives, and deliverables.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
- Coordinate and manage all phases of construction projects, including pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure quality control.
- Manage and lead a team of engineers, construction workers, and subcontractors.
- Facilitate clear communication and collaboration between all project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Prepare and deliver project status reports to keep stakeholders informed.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining project quality.
- Manage project documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping
