Responsibilities & Context:
Position: Interior Site Engineer – BOQ & Estimation
CHARU Interior & Architects is looking for a skilled and responsible Interior Site Engineer with strong expertise in BOQ preparation, quantity estimation, and site execution.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate BOQ, quantity take-off, and material estimates for interior projects.
Prepare and review project quotations and cost estimates.
Supervise interior work at project sites according to approved drawings and specifications.
Coordinate with architects, designers, contractors, vendors, and project management teams.
Monitor material quality, workmanship, and project progress.
Check measurements and prepare work orders/bills when required.
Ensure projects are completed within the approved budget and timeline.
Identify site issues and provide practical technical solutions.
Prepare regular site progress reports.
Requirements
Diploma/B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design.
1–3 years of experience in interior site supervision and BOQ preparation preferred.
Strong knowledge of BOQ, estimation, quantity surveying, and costing.
Ability to read and understand CAD drawings and interior layouts.
Good knowledge of interior materials, construction methods, and finishing works.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
