Educational Requirements:
∎ The incumbent should be Masters in Management or any related subject / MBA/MDS from any Public University/M.Sc in Civil Engineering or Environmental science.

Job Context:
∎ Bangladesh Association for Social Advancement (BASA) a national level Non Government Organization (NGO) is started to implement a project titled " FINISH Mondial " Funded by WASTE the Netherlands at Sakhipur Upazila under Tangail District with the support of Aqua for all & Amref. We are looking for suitable, qualified and competent candidates to fill up the position mentioned below:
∎ Job Location: Sakhipur Upazila under Tangail District
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain all project activates as per BASA and donor's operational/implementation guideline.
∎ Overall administration and management of the project (Planning and in Monitoring, )
∎ Coordinate in project implementation planning.
∎ Project information management and reporting to Project partner office and Donar.
∎ Networking with relevant stakeholders.
∎ Communication of progress and success stories through various media.
∎ Experience in market study analysis of solid waste and fecal sludge waste to value product.
∎ Responsible for fund management, fund disbursement, follow-up and monitoring of expenditure with project activities and meet with internal and external audit/ monitoring visitors team.
∎ Maintain all related files, registers, documents, community level information's, files and other papers/ documents.
∎ Summarizes current project status by collecting information, including project activities, project related information,
∎ Ensure staff/ component wise target and its achievement as per plan.
∎ Prepare and facilitate planning workshop with DAE, Municipality, Entrepreneurs.
∎ Linkage with Municipality, UNO, DPHE, DAE, LGED, DoE and wash related partners.
∎
∎ Prepare Progress reports on Project activities on regular basis and submit it to BASA and Donar.
∎ Have sound Knowledge on solid waste or fecal sludge Management.
∎ Experience & sound Knowledge on PPP development.
∎ Identification of suitable Waste Entrepreneurs and facilitate them.
∎ Develop a technical, business, financial and institutional skills training modules for the suitable operators.
∎ Undertake additional responsibilities assigned by the Executive Director as and when required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3 years working experience in NGOs/development sector
∎ At least 3 years of experience in community development project(s).
∎ High potential for proven community facilitation skills and relevant background.
∎ Good Communication skills in English and Bangla.
∎ Good Computer skills (MS Office and internet).
∎ Can adapt to local conditions (Culture, language, geography).
∎ Willing to work and committed to communities and poor families.
∎ Creative and humble (Can achieve equal status in the minds of project participants).
∎ Physically fit and Positive 'can do' attitude.
∎ Good Coordination and leadership skills
∎ Motor Cycle Driving: Able to drive motor Cycle with valid driving license
Salary:
∎ TK. 50,000 to 55,000
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ As per project design.
