Responsibilities & Context:
∎ We are looking for potential candidates for the position of Project Engineer to set up a factory to produce knit & Woven Fabrics specially for a furniture Manufacturing Industry. The position asks for knowledge, skills, experience in Project implementation, proper knowledge of fabrics & Production process.We invite energetic and results oriented professionals with the proven employment track records to work under friendly and highly professional working culture.
∎ Project co-ordination to set up a woven & knit Machineries to produce the fabrics as per application with a proper Master plan layout
∎ Must have knowledge on below process : Weaving Looms, Shuttle Looms, Air Jet Looms, Water Jet Looms, Rapier Looms, Jacquard Looms·
∎ The candidate also requires to know the know-how of Yarn Development, Fabric Inspection process and CAD System to create patterns for jacquard looms·
∎ Analyzing weaving machine performance to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.·
∎ Adjusting weaving parameters like warp tension, weft insertion, and pick density to optimize fabric quality and production speed.·
∎ Implementing process improvements to reduce waste and increase productivity.·
∎ Conducting regular quality checks on yarn and fabric to ensure compliance with specifications regarding strength, evenness, and appearance.·
∎ Identifying and addressing defects like broken ends, uneven selvedges, and fabric flaws.·
∎ Implementing quality control measures to maintain consistent fabric quality throughout production.·
∎ Collaborating with design teams to develop new fabric structures and blends based on market trends and customer requirements.
∎ Experimenting with different yarn types, weaving patterns, and finishing techniques to achieve desired fabric properties.·
∎ Staying updated on new weaving technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
∎ Exploring new yarn types and weaving techniques to develop innovative fabric products.
