Job Context:
∎ Bangladesh Association for Social Advancement (BASA) a national level Non Government Organization (NGO) is started to implement a project titled " FINISH Mondial " Funded by WASTE the Netherlands at Sakhipur Upazila under Tangail District with the support of Aqua for all & Amref. We are looking for suitable, qualified and competent candidates to fill up the position mentioned below:
∎ Job Location: Sakhipur, Tangail
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Facilitate garments factory and School Committee to take effective plan to ensure a hygienic environment in the catchment areas.
∎ Assist front level staffs to select and finalized Water and Sanitation facilities.
∎ Follow and supervision hygiene and wash related activities.
∎ Have sound knowledge on wash, solid waste and faecal sludge management
∎ Knowledge on PPP development.
∎ Experience in developing potential desludging equipments available in the local market.
∎ Experience in exploring various waste to value product.
∎ Developing inventory of faecal sludge management and solid waste management practices.
∎ Engagement with municipality to undertake waste segregation campaign and ensure waste segregation policy.
∎ Develop a relationship with municipality, local stakeholders and different public organizations like DPHE,DAE, LGED and other relevant sector.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 2 years working experience in NGOs/development sector
∎ Good Communication skills in English and Bangla.
∎ Good Computer skills (MS Office and internet).
∎ Can adapt to local conditions (Culture, language, geography).
Salary:
∎ Tk.40,000 ( Consolidated)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ As per project design.
