Job Context:
∎ To implement a project on Conducting survey at restaurants to explore tobacco company`s tactics to establish designated smoking Areas (DSAs) to allure youths for smoking project" Privacy, data protection and digital ecosystem, VOICE is seeking applications for Project Coordinator from qualified candidates in immediate basis. This is a contractual position for starting from first week of October 2022 and will end in 31 January 2023.
∎ Job Location : Dhaka with field visits.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Project Coordinator is responsible for overall leadership and management of the "Conducting survey at restaurants in 8 divisional cities in Bangladesh to explore tobacco company's tactics to establish designated smoking Areas (DSAs) to allure youths for smoking project" in order to achieve the program outcomes and goal as per approved program design and managing relationship with partner. This position will ensure project planning & implementation, recruit enumerators, conduct survey, prepare all reports and document properly in time and required activities to ensure smooth operations in the project.
∎ Job Responsibility
∎ Project Coordinator will be responsible in developing concept, methodology of the study, managing and conducting survey in 8 divisional cities etc.
∎ Project Coordinator will be responsible coordinating with the enumerators, ensure qualitative data from field survey, data synthesis, analysis and report writing in excellent English.
∎ Project Coordinator will maintain contacts (based on requirement) with the existing donor/partner organizations, relevant Ministries, CSOs and shall explore the possibilities of resource mobilization.
∎ Project Coordinator will be responsible for organizing research findings dissemination meeting and arrange meetings with MPs and Secretaries.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ At least 7 year(s) in research and advocacy
∎ The applicants should have experience in national or International development organizations (NGOs)
∎ Effective communication skills.
∎ Proven experience as a team player.
∎ Previous track record on Tobacco Control movement.
∎ Demonstrated collaboration & team building skills.
∎ Strong analytical skills and capacity to liaison with the donor
∎ Oral and written communication skills in English and Bangla.
∎ Work under pressure and can take additional responsibilities.
∎ Basic computer literacy using of Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel & MS PowerPoint).
Salary:
∎ 60,000 per month (Consolidated)
