Educational Requirements:

Job Context:
∎ TEAM/PROGRAMME : SDA-RMNCH in Coastal Bangladesh
∎ (funded by MAC-P , Concern Worldwide)
∎ LOCATION : Upazila Level (Galachiapa-Patuakhali)
∎ POST TYPE : 100% (Project Base/ Contractual) GRADE : Level-5
∎ ROLE PURPOSE:
∎ The ProjectCoordinator (PC) will have overall operational and management responsibility in achieving the goal and objectives of RMNCAH in Coastal Bangladesh project and will serve as its primary spokesperson. S/he will consult with the Executive Director/ Head of Organization and the Program Focal Persons of Concern Worldwide for Management and Technical Assistance. The PC will manage the activities of all program/components and guide all the project staffs to execute their respective responsibilities. S/he will work closely with stakeholders across the working area for smooth operation and ownership building of project activities. S/he will have to build and keep collaboration & networking with relevant Government department, LG officials and NGOs working for or interested in Reproductive,Maternal, New-born, Child, Adolescent, Health. The position will be responsible for exploring opportunities to create innovations in project implementation. S/he will be responsible for ensuring required Financial, Administrative and logistics support to implement the project activities smoothly and to achieve the goals and objectives of the project.

∎ Reports to:Executive Director throughProgram Manager-SDA
∎ Dotted line management:Finance & HR Manager of SDA and Lead and Program Manager MNCH of Concern Worldwide and other key project management team.
∎ Dimensions:70% of field visit required
∎ Staff directly reporting to this post:All RMNCAH project staff under Galachipa Project Office.
∎ Functional relationship:RMNCH Specialist,Finance Officer, Training, MEAL, Admin& Logistics Officer

Job Responsibilities:
∎ KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
∎ S/he is expected to have sound knowledge on Bangladesh coastal rural context and experience in working with multi-sectoral Health program (Reproductive,Maternal, New-born, Child, Adolescent, Health) including stakeholders at different level and experience in leading &managing field-level activities.
∎ S/he should have excellent skills in program planning, leading, coordinating, interpersonal communication,presentation, problem solving & decision making, time management, representing, monitoring and supervision.
∎ Key Staff management role, documentation& Donor reporting,self-explanatory in advance proficiency and knowledge on financial & administrative management.
∎ In-depth Knowledge on Community management participation in community health awareness and management issues with Child and adolescent Development, Development/Reproductive Health, Maternal & New-born Child Health Care & Nutrition, Community Mobilization, Child Protection and Nutrition program management and its inter-linkages with different development interventions will be an added advantage.
∎ Plan, direct, coordinate and lead to implementation of RMNCAH Coastal project to ensure that the goal and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame &program guideline.
∎ Build and nature effective team work in the program team and a non-discriminatory & gender friendly workplace environment that is conducive to staff retention and build a high performing team.
∎ Outline work plan to assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority. Review status reports prepared by project staffs and modify schedules or plans as required. Prepare and review project reports for submitting to the Management and Concern Worldwide.
∎ Responsible for overall quality and management of RMNCAH Coastal Bangladesh Project. Recognize and identify the best solution of problems arises in the working area.Assist in assessing appropriate program needs through situation analysis, review studies and sharing experiences
∎ Identify the programmatic challenges and recommend possible ways to overcome.Responsible for ensuring required Financial, Administrative and logistics support to implement the program activities smoothly and to achieve the goals and objectives of the program;
∎ Coordinate with SDA & Concern Worldwide Dhaka based lead/ management/program managers & focal person/other official, District &Upazila level government official, local/private sector institutions for ensuring better service and update them about program activities.
∎ Participate in different Government/non-government institutions' meeting/forum and assist program staffs to develop and maintain such linkages with GOB/local government/other agencies and utilize the best of services/facilities.
∎ Extensive Network building skill with local and regional agencies, NGOs and health institutions.
∎ Perform any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor and are in line with the skills and background of the employee towards career development.
∎ Ready to work in any natural disaster or emergency situation anywhere in Bangladesh.

∎ QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
∎ ESSENTIAL
∎ Working Experience: At least 10years' experiencein NGO environment with position hold as Project Coordinator/ Manager in health related large program setting. Experience in costal based health program implementation given preference. Women and disable candidates arespecially encouraged to apply.
∎ Knowledge: Should have clear concept on Admin and logistics management issues and knowledge in programs of Government and community health support facilities.
∎ Skills:
∎ Good communication skills both in English and Bengali
∎ Should have ability to interpret report writing skills in Bangla and English
∎ Good Computer knowledge on MS-Word, MS-Excel, PP and other relevant software is a must for this job
