Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Design and implement a curriculum focused on spoken English that addresses the needs of the learners, particularly emphasizing conversational skills, pronunciation, and practical language use.
∎ Develop lesson plans that incorporate interactive and participatory methods to engage students effectively.
∎ Recruit and train instructors on effective teaching strategies specifically tailored for spoken English.
∎ Provide ongoing support and professional development opportunities for instructors to enhance their teaching skills.
∎ Organize speaking clubs, public speaking workshops, and interactive sessions that encourage spoken language practice.
∎ Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide feedback and support to help them improve.
∎ Maintain regular communication with all stakeholders, including students, parents, instructors, and organizational management, to ensure transparency and mutual understanding of program goals and achievements.
∎ Act as a point of contact for all queries related to the spoken English program.
∎ Evaluate the effectiveness of the spoken English program through qualitative and quantitative measures.
∎ Prepare detailed reports on student outcomes, instructor performance, and overall program effectiveness to guide future improvements.
∎ Collaborate with other educational coordinators to integrate spoken English components into broader educational initiatives.
∎ Network with other organizations and experts in the field of language education to keep updated on best practices and innovative teaching methods.
∎ Stay updated with the latest trends in language education and incorporate best practices into the program.
∎ Initiate projects and activities that enhance students' language skills and cultural understanding.
