Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Master's degree (Agriculture preferred) in Geography, English or any discipline with reputed university.
Job Context:
∎ LEDARS is NGO Affairs Bureau affiliated NGO working in the southwest coastal region of Bangladesh since 1998. The southwest coastal region is one of the climate vulnerable area of the country and people are suffering so much. In this context, LEDARS is implementing a program entitled `Strengthening Livelihood Security of Climate Change Vulnerable People` in southern part of Satkhira and Khulna district with financial support of German based donor agency. This is a multi-sectoral program. LEDARS is going to hire a Project Coordinator for this project. It is a senior level position and will be key person for program operation. Following are the major job requirements of this post.
∎ Duration: Long term ongoing project.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide technical support to team members to smooth operation of program.
∎ Knowledge of Project Cycle Management (PCM).
∎ Experience in working on climate change, advocacy, gender, environment conservation, WASH and DRR project context.
∎ Have ability to write and edit project reports, success story, article, etc.
∎ Keep strong relation with government agencies and obtain support for the project implementation.
∎ Have experience to work dimensional project in rural area.
∎ Promotion the program as well as organization in print, electronic and social media.
∎ Planning and designing the program and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action.
∎ Day to day monitoring of filed level staff and provide necessary information to senior management team.
∎ Have working experience in participatory program planning, management, monitoring, and evaluation and effectively use of PRA tools.
∎ Ability to work in stress condition and workload.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ At least 2 years in senior level management in NGO.
∎ Have valid driving license.
∎ Candidate who has experience to write concept note, project proposal, logical framework development, etc. will get priority.
∎ Applicant who has working experience in coastal area will get special priority.
∎ Interested to travel in rural area and driving motor bike.
∎ Good knowledge on computer operation including Microsoft Office and internet browsing.
∎ Should have good inter-personal skill and clear knowledge on climate change, adaptation and mitigation, community development, environment conservation, etc.
∎ Knowledge on IEC materials development.
∎ Good command in Bangla and English.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 45000 (Monthly)
∎ Salary is negotiable for highly qualified candidates.

∎ Yearly increment, festival bonus and provident funds.
