Job Context:
∎ LEDARS is NGO Affairs Bureauaffiliated NGO working in the southwest coastal region of Bangladesh since 1998. Youth in a country is the most viable and potential human resource both in population structure and social structure. The provision of services for youths is crucial in order to support them in setting up their lives, both professional and personal. Development in Bangladesh depends upon proper utilization of youths because they constitute about one-third of total population and 37.7 percent of the total civilian labour force. But the youths of this country are suffering from various socioeconomic problems, environmental constraints and political instability such as unemployment, lack of technical education, financial crisis for self-employment resulting from mass poverty and lack of informative plan implemented, climate induced disaster, religious backwardness, religious fundamentalism, political ignorance etc. Active participation of educated, trained, persevered, organized, disciplined, skilled, risk free, motivated and dedicated youth force in development process will ensure the development of the country. To build the capacity of youths in social participation, leadership and income generating LEDARS is implementing a project entitled "Youth Mobilization for Social Change" with the support of ManusherJonno Foundation(MJF).LEDARS is going to hire a Project Coordinator for the project. It is the most senior level position and will be key person for program operation and reporting. She/he will be fully responsible to ensure proper management of program. Following are the major job requirements of this post.
∎ Duration: 2 Years
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide technical support to team members to smooth operation of program,
∎ Knowledge of Project Cycle Management (PCM) and development PCM and monitoring frameworks,
∎ Experience in working on youth mobilization, social justice, climate change, campaign and advocacy activities.
∎ Ensuring effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the program,
∎ Development of necessary document like periodic progress report, success story, promotional materials etc.
∎ Preparing campaign brief like brochure, leaflet, fact sheet, keynote paper etc.
∎ Maintaining strong liaison with youth forums and federation, different potential employers organizations, etc.
∎ Keep strong relation with government agencies and obtain support for the project implementation.
∎ Maintaining regular coordination with MJF, different youth forum and federation, forums and other stakeholders and keep them informed about project status.
∎ Promotion the program as well as organization in print, electronic and social media.
∎ Planning and designing the program and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action.
∎ Day to day monitoring of filed level staff and provide necessary information to senior management team,
∎ Have working experience in participatory program planning, management, monitoring, evaluation and effectively use of PRA tools,
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Minimum Masters degree in English or any discipline with reputed university.
∎ Have valid driving license.
∎ Candidate who has experience to write concept note, project proposal, logical framework development, etc. will get priority.
∎ Applicant who has working experience in coastal area will get special priority.
∎ Interested to travel in rural area and driving motor bike.
∎ Good knowledge on computer operation including Office software and internet browsing,
∎ Should have good inter-personal skill and clear knowledge on gender, community development, PWD, Capacity Developmentetc.
∎ Knowledge on IEC materials development.
∎ Good command in Bangla and English

Salary:
∎ Monthly 35,000(salary is negotiable for highly experienced candidate)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Yearly increment, festival bonus and other benefits.
