Job Context:
∎ Jagorani Chakra Foundation (JCF) is a national voluntary social welfare organization. JCF is going to implement Adolescents and Youth Education Support for Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nationals and Host Community Residents in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh project in partnership with Plan International Bangladesh. To ensure the quality implementation of the project, JCF is inviting applications to recruit project staff from qualified candidates.
∎ Duration of the Appointment initially: 01 (One year)
∎ Expected Starting Date: 01 August 2021

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design and develop the work plan, review the project budget especially in terms of line items, pay to follow up and monitoring of the project implementation process for ensuring the utilization of project resources in an effective manner.
∎ In collaboration with field and central team members, ensure the project implementation is timely, on target, and on budget, through developing strategies to overcome and challenges relating to the success of the project.
∎ In collaboration with project staff, oversee the collection and timely reporting of all projects according to donor requirements, ensuring strict compliance with donor contract requirements or reporting deadlines.
∎ Conduct frequent field visits to the project sites/camp to support the field teams.
∎ Ensuring proper flows of communication to all terms and disseminate updates and other info when relevant, particularly between project and support functions.
∎ Ensuring an effective education learning environment by managing the technical and field operations team of project resources.
∎ Providing capacity building and coaching to project staff on project management best practices.
∎ Ensure supporting to project management related to child rights, child protection in emergency (CPiE), education in emergency.
∎ Ensure linkage among key stakeholders, Such as UNO, UEO, Camp-in-Charge (CiC), Site Management Coordinator offices, other organizations, donors, and other funding agencies.
∎ Prepare and work for the approval of Need Assessment documents form Camp-in-Charge

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ At least 7 years’ experience in managerial position and minimum 1-year experience in working in emergency situation.
∎ Sound knowledge on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, and experience in presenting project status in the high-level meeting and workshop with the donors; GO & NGO officials; innovative, dynamic, hardworking and have good interpersonal relationship and ability to work in a team; experienced in communication, liaison and collaborating with the GO/NGO officials; have knowledge about budget preparation, monitoring of expenses, report preparation at the different stage of the project; good knowledge on monitoring and evaluation activities, good communication skill in English and Bengali; good knowledge on staff supervision, good skills in computer operation especially with MS-Word, PowerPoint and spreadsheet, internet, and email applications; willing to work in pressure situation and interested to visit the remote areas of Bangladesh.
∎ Must be strong in independent communication in English and using the internet and social media.
∎ Working experience in the education field particularly in Adolescence and Youth development programs will count as an additional experience.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bangla and English.
∎ Knowledge of the local language will be an asset.
∎ Having a valid motorcycle license will be an asset
∎ Ability to work under pressure and dual/multi-management
∎ Humanitarian working experience in education will be preferred

Salary:
∎ Consolidated Tk. 82,000/- per month and other admissible benefits as per organizational policy as well as the project.
