Educational Requirements:

Job Context:
∎ Bangladesh Nazarene Mission (BNM) is a non-profit, non-political, non-government national voluntary and holistic developmental Christian humanitarian organization rendering all possible services to the neediest and poorest of the poor groups of people irrespective of cast, creed and religion especially focusing to children through mothers and families in the rural communities. It was founded in 1994. The major programs of BNM are (but not limited to): i) Child Development ii) Nutrition and Food Security iii) Health Development iv) Integrated Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation v) WASH vi) Community Development Program vii) Emergency Response and Rehabilitation.
∎ BNM with the support of German Doctors provides health services in four locations/unions (3 outreach centres at community level and the main center) based on the demand of the target people. These include general health check-ups, paediatrics, counselling on family planning, nutrition, treatment of chronic diseases, gynaecology, skin diseases, and ophthalmology. In addition, provide medicine for free or minimum cost to the appropriate patients; provide health information/education to the waiting patients through nurse, project staff or Community Health Volunteers; pathological and diagnostic services from external sources and refer complicated cases to other specialized hospitals for treatment of communicable and non-communicable diseases.
∎ Bangladesh Nazarene Mission (BNM) is registered under the NGO Affairs Bureau of the Government of the People`s Republic of Bangladesh. BNM is inviting applications from qualified candidates for "Availing Health Services for Tea Garden Laborer`s and other Vulnerable and Marginalized People in Sreemongal" Project supported by Germen Doctor`s,, which is being implemented in 4 Unions (Rajghat, Kalighat, Ashidron, Sreemongal Sadar) of Sreemongal, Moulvibazar, Bangladesh. The requirements for the positions are given below:
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee the all activities of project and supervise the project staff
∎ Lead German Doctor's Clinic Project implementation as per action plan and Project Proposal at BNM Project area
∎ Keep regular update to BNM management and German Doctors about project
∎ Liaise with Civil Surgeon Office & Upazila Health Authority including Family Planning officer, Community Clinic authority, tea garden authorities, local government body, religious leaders and focal person of others project of BNM
∎ Ensure patients care in the provision of services to clients by maintaining clinical quality standards, the service protocol and other service-related standards/policies/procedures.
∎ Manage initial patients' complaints & queries and provide support to team members in the management of complex cases and maintaining adequate client satisfaction by creating a client-oriented environment.
∎ Ensure appropriate responses to handling medical emergencies are in place, lead on emergency situations when present and follow up all cases to conclusion.
∎ Report all incidents to the concerned persons in appropriate time and cooperate the investigation to close up the incident report & implement the action plans accordingly.
∎ Support project team members to implement project activities and monitor progress and effectiveness of activities as per agreed Key Performance Indicator (KPIs).
∎ Be familiar with BNM all policies and comply with policy in any financial matters of the clinic.
∎ Conduct monthly reviews of performance against the plan, and especially the KPIs - discuss performance at the team meetings and agree / review specific actions taken to improve any areas of under-performance
∎ Facilitate network with local private practitioners, pharmacist, NGOs, Corporate Office and any other potential agencies to achieve expected targets.
∎ Arrange Vitamin-A Campaign at community level under the guidance of UH&FPO.
∎ Prepare yearly activity Gantt chart, quarterly and monthly work plan
∎ Ensure all the Health service delivery Maternal Health, Child Health, ANC/PNC, IMCI, EPI, Nutrition is being entered in the DHIS2 dashboard.
∎ Undertake FGD, LQAS DQAs frequently with guidance of M&E officer
∎ Organize and facilitate monthly staff meeting and ensure reflection sessions are held in these meeting to review the progress and impact of the project.
∎ Prepare different types of report as per requirement of Donor and BNM Management.
∎ Prepare quality case study based on success of project intervention
∎ Attend different meetings held in DC office, CS Office, UNO Office and local government Office
∎ Keep close contact with DC office, DDFPO, CS Office, UH&FPO, CC, FWC.
∎ Ensure financial transparency and accountability of the project
∎ Comply with procurement, accounting, documentation and reporting according to BNM policies and procedures
∎ Maintain good team spirit among all others team members for creating a dynamic team and also maintain professional line functions relationship with others members in the organization.
∎ Respond to requests of BNM management and donor organization German Doctors as per the need. Take care of German volunteer doctors and act as contact person for them.
∎ Perform any others duties/responsibilities as assigned by the BNM Management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 22 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Good command both in English & Bangla;
∎ Skills in writing reports and assessment in standard English.
∎ Requires knowledge of using personal computers including Microsoft Office Application;
∎ Knowledge of Project Management, coordination, leadership, community engagement, and rights-based approach;
∎ Capacity to manage project team
∎ Diverse knowledge about Public Health management;
∎ Experience on Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation process.
Salary: Tk. 38000 (Monthly)
