∎ AAR Japan is looking for a Project Assistant who will be responsible for ensuring proper follow up of field activities relevant to Protection, MHPSS and child protection, supporting in documentation and communication in the field level, in cooperation with National NGO.
∎ Period: Duration of the initial contract will be for three (3) months. On mutual agreement, after three months, the position shall be on One (1) year Contractual arrangement (including Probation period) with the possibility of extension which will be subject to satisfactory performance of the contracted applicant.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Regularly following up the field level activities according to the monthly plan of WFS/CFS
∎ Documentation of field events relevant to WFS/CFS
∎ Following up the protection staff meetings of implement partner (National NGO)
∎ Conducting and supporting regular communication with the beneficiaries
∎ Supporting in field level trainings for the field level staffs and local volunteers
∎ Follow-up Psycho-social counselling, referral process and maintenance of confidential filing system
∎ Follow-up Complaint and Feedback process
∎ Supporting translating and transcribing from Rohingya to Bengali/English.

∎ Essential Requirements
∎ At least 2 years of relevant experience in Protection, child protection, MHPSS at the national or international organization
∎ Experience in conducting field level trainings
∎ Fluency in spoken and written English and speaking Chittagonian or Rohingya dialect
∎ Strong motivation to be a part of a humanitarian organization.
∎ Good operational knowledge of Microsoft Office in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
∎ Desirable Requirements
∎ Experience in working with international donor supported programmers
∎ Analytical/Communication/inter-personal skills
∎ Ability to work under highly stressful conditions
∎ Ability to work with kobo tools
∎ Writing/drafting skills
∎ Ability to train and educate other people.
∎ Fluency in English and Local dialect.

Salary:
∎ This position is under the salary scale for national staff members.
