Job Context:
∎ Agrogoti Sangstha is looking for dynamic Project Account (PA) for its` livelihood project titled `Strengthening the Resilience and Adaptive Capacity of Vulnerable Groups and Empowering Civil Society in the Context of Climate Change in Bangladesh` supported by NETZ Bangladesh. The details eligibility and requirement of the position as mentioned below.
∎ Duration: August 2022 to December 2025
∎ Work Station: Khulna District (Koyra or Paikgacha) with frequent field visit
∎ Job nature: Full time up to project period based on satisfactory performance.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Financial management and accounting of the program.
∎ Record and post all daily transactions in the books of accounts/accounting software package through proper coding.
∎ Fund disbursement and payment.
∎ Prepare receipt, payment, journal voucher and monthly payment.
∎ Ensure all expenses made are reasonable, accurate and in compliance with cost principles procedures of the program.
∎ Ensure all expenses are verified in the validity and accuracy of reliable, reasonable and approved by a designated person before payment
∎ Maintain miscellaneous expenditures, advances and income tax , VAT deductions, as required by the Management.
∎ Prepare relevant documents related to annual external audit.
∎ Prepare financial reports, budget variance analysis, ensure the fund disbursement issues and handle the funding process as per requirement.
∎ Payroll accounting and payment.
∎ Manage the NGO-AB & other regulatory bodies and external audit team.
∎ Coaching support to the Unit Accountant.
∎ Willing to visit project location and able to drive motor bike.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ At least 3-4 years working experience in project accounting
∎ Knowledge on day-to-day accounting
∎ Knowledge on internal auditing
∎ Able to make efficient plan and optimum utilization of available resources
∎ Able to operate accounting related software as well as MS office
∎ Able to prepare financial reports
∎ Age not over than 45 years
