Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's/ Master's in Economics/ English/ Communication/International Relationship/ Public Administration/ Management or any related subject from any recognised university with minimum 2nd division/ class or equivalent GPA/CGPA in all academic examinations. Courses taken in development studies, development history, Bangladesh studies and development economics will be an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain close collaboration with multi programme fund raising units such as- BRAC Proposal Development, Resource Mobilisation and Learning (PRL), BRAC UK and USA fund raising units. Responsible for developing fundraising strategy and track funding opportunities for the BRAC Skills Development Programme (SDP).
∎ Lead SDP's project proposal and innovative project design development processes.
∎ Support director and program head to lead various conversations with potential donors and local corporate bodies and enterprises for traditional and alternative fundraising and partnerships (grants/tenders, CSR, B2B, impact investing etc.).
∎ Ensure tracking of possible fundraising streams from governmental and major institutional donors and large Corporate Enterprises including designing, writing and editing proposals.
∎ Support budget planning (in cooperation with SDP's Financial Analyst) and donor reporting (team leads for timely delivery, and communications & knowledge management specialist for quality assurance).
∎ Ensure existing donors and partners are sufficiently informed to maintain/strengthen relationships.
∎ Support documenting and disseminating lessons learned and good practices on programme related work (in collaboration with BRAC's PRL, communications and advocacy units).
∎ Increase donor portfolio to diversify partnerships and document good financial and technical partnerships for future references.
∎ Track opportunities for the program to collaborate on TVET, youth skills development, decent work, social inclusion, informal sector employment related studies with external/international organisations.
∎ Take part in external seminars, summits, events etc. to connect with potential partners and donors (under the guidance of the Director/Programme Head).
∎ Participate in different knowledge management forum/seminars/conferences on skills development and guide SDP staff accordingly on how to capture learning/good practices.
∎ Undertake monthly performance review of supervisees and ensure activities are well aligned with other units of the skills development programme, i.e. operations, TVET support, inclusion and decent work, technology, research, among others.
∎ Support the Director and Programme Head on timely delivery of reports (Bi-Annual Progress Report, Annual Operation Plan Matrix and Narrative to the requesting department (ED's Office) as and when needed.
∎ Ensure capacity building training for SDP staff on Google Drive and proposal/project/log frame development and ensure writing proposal for local EOI/RFP/Biddings which are published in local print/electronic media.
∎ Continuously visiting and coordinating with big enterprises for finding CSR funds and other grants and make a directory of the potential enterprises.
∎ Ensure gender & inclusivity within the project and be an active participant of the taskforce teams assigned by the supervisor for quick delivery of actions.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 05 years' experience in related field including minimum 03 years' experience in Managerial Position. Candidates having practical experience in the areas of fundraising, communication, research, M&E and content writing will be given preference.
∎ Sound conceptual knowledge on proposal development and fundraising issues associated with development organisations/NGOs.
∎ In-depth understanding on key development issues in the context of urban and rural Bangladesh.
∎ Excellent English writing and communication skills; a good hold on Bangla communications will be preferred as well.
∎ Excellent networking and interpersonal skills and must be able to communicate with all levels of management and staff.
∎ Should be prompt in responding to clients' requirements and concerns.
∎ Should have a collaborative mindset and should be open to new ideas and to learn and share knowledge.
∎ Good analytical and problem solving skills.
∎ Should be able to visit fields within Bangladesh and travel abroad within short notice, if required.
