Job Responsibilities:
∎ Directly line manage to Project Managers focused on Child Protection and Case Management.
∎ Manage technical implementation of programs for Case management and Child Protection. The post holder will ensure all interventions have a particular focus on addressing the specific needs of young/ adolescent girls and young women throughout this response and recovery programme including interventions in the host community.
∎ Internal communications involve with Technical Leads, Operations including Finance, HROD and MER in Cox's Bazar to ensure consistency of the approach and implementation aligned with Cox's Bazar's Strategic Plan.
∎ Oversee the implementation of CPiE projects of Plan Bangladesh Rohingya Influx Response, providing management and guidance to the projects team in implementing projects interventions in Rohingya communities as well as in host communities.
∎ Lead the process of developing implementation plan and guidelines for all CPiE projects of the response programme (before they are grounded); ensure staff of Plan and Partner organizations are oriented on the same through start-ups and formal orientations.
∎ Coordinate with and make available from the Technical Lead and Advisors/Team (CPiE, WASH in Emergency, and EiE) inputs on program quality and team capacity building as well as any operational aspects that have a bearing on implementation of CPiE programme and to establish and support adapting an integrated approach in programme delivery.
∎ Respond to concerns from field level implementation by partner organizations and Plan teams.
∎ Coordinating with Admin and Logistics team and in consultation with the Technical Team, ensure commodity supply requests from field are procured and delivered to field offices in a timely manner.
∎ Participate as member of Emergency Response Management Team for the Influx response effort.
∎ Troubleshoot problems and facilitate communication between field teams and Country Office specific to CPiE projects implementation and issues related to these.
∎ Participate or ensure team participation in coordination mechanisms at local/upazila and camp level, and ensure feedback flows through to the technical Team at Cox's Bazar.
∎ Visit field sites at least twice a week to support timely and qualitative implementation
∎ Planning for staff capacity development
∎ Develop and maintain a healthy environment for the team, coordinating timely discussions on strategic programming issues and leading a biweekly skype call with all project managers.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years work experience in managing multi-disciplinary emergency response projects, implementation of project with partners
∎ Proven experience in partnership programme operations and dealing with Government of Bangladesh, civil societies, media and NGO/ CBO
∎ INGO work experience preferred
∎ Comprehensive understanding of the Humanitarian architecture of the Rohingya Response its operating and regulatory environment.
∎ Understanding of the socio/political economic and cultural issues of Bangladesh and districts; especially in Chittagong Divisions.
∎ Knowledge and understanding of Plan's vision, mission values.
∎ In-depth understanding of Child Protection,
∎ Sound knowledge of principles and strategies for project management
∎ Experience in Emergency Context will get preference.
∎ Visioning, strategic planning & execution
∎ Critical thinking, analysis, reasoning & decision-making
∎ Leadership and Management
∎ Strong skills in MS word, Excel, PowerPoint and report development
∎ Budget development and monitoring
∎ Ability to work under pressure, late hours, weekends and holidays in order to meet the deadline

∎ About 5 year's humanitarian experience- specific to the similar role in large scale emergency response
