Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of project activities, such as peace-building workshops, community events, and high-impact summits.
∎ Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including community leaders, media professionals, youth, government authorities, and CSOs, ensuring the success of project goals.
∎ Ensure that all activities align with the project’s vision of promoting social tolerance and meet timelines and quality benchmarks.
∎ Act as the primary liaison with community members, local authorities, and media outlets to promote active participation and ensure strong community buy-in.
∎ Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including journalists, filmmakers, and youth leaders, to support project outreach.
∎ Facilitate positive, solution-oriented conversations to address any concerns or issues that may arise in the community or media.
∎ Oversee the logistics for workshops, community engagements, and media-driven events, including coordinating travel, venues, equipment, and materials.
∎ Work closely with team members to ensure the smooth execution of field activities and events.
∎ Partner with the Communication Officer to document and showcase the project’s successes, challenges, and transformative stories.
∎ Use your skills in media, film, or journalism to create compelling narratives that highlight project impacts.
∎ Contribute to progress reports, spotlighting achievements and identifying areas for improvement.
∎ Support training initiatives aimed at building the capacity of youth, community leaders, and media professionals to engage in peace-building efforts and counter misinformation.
∎ Inspire and empower youth to take active leadership roles in promoting tolerance through creative platforms like media and storytelling.
