Job Context:
∎ An international NGO based in UK working with the Law enforcement agencies to rescue victims of slavery bring criminal networks to justice and spark systemic change. We restore lives, secure communities at risk from traffickers.
∎ Main Scope of the Job:
∎ Working towards implementing a holistic program of care and protection of victims who are trafficked, abused and missing. S/he would ensure a sustained focus and ownership on design and roll out of individual care plans (ICP`s) of the survivors who have been entrusted to their care under the program. Regular follow up and visits to the field for home investigation reports, home visits, hospital and medical practitioners, shelter homes, repatriation of victims, safe custody in shelter home, reunification with their families. Support and report on the progress of individual cases and consistently work within a multidisciplinary framework and ensure victim centricity at all times. Liaise and network with a range of relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of the care plans.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Program:
∎ Fully understand the process of casework, relevant victim protection and custody laws and procedures
∎ Develop and implement Individual Care Plans (ICP) for all victims in coordination with counselors and other relevant stakeholder.
∎ Provide on-going all round support for rescued victims, including crisis management
∎ Involve the victim in a reintegration plan for their future and whenever required
∎ Conduct home investigations for cross-border victims for the purpose of repatriation, follow up with local Police and MOHA for relative repatriation order and facilitate physical repatriation at the border.
∎ Nurture and maintain professional relationships within the MOU and aftercare team
∎ Develop a healthy rapport with victims within boundaries
∎ Maintain and update Case Management (CM) sheet and generate report thereby
∎ Networking:
∎ Maintain professional relationship with staff of the government homes, private aftercare facilities, local child centric or women centric bodies and other relevant organizations
∎ Network with government officials, NGOs, Tribunals and other relevant stakeholders to strengthen organization's work
∎ Develop and maintain good relationships with staff and authorities in the shelter homes.
∎ Represent the organization in meetings with external stakeholders as required
∎ Documentation:
∎ Document case histories, follow up and status of victims regularly
∎ Ensure that detailed and timely reports are maintained for of all Aftercare team activities and meetings - intake sheets, follow up reports, HIR, case diaries, relevant documents for each case, weekly update of victim status sheet and assist in monthly reports and maintaining of documents

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Knowledge of dealing with victims of trauma/trafficking and aftercare procedures
∎ Knowledge of relevant local law and acts that impact the work of Anti Human Trafficking
∎ Problem solving and trouble shooting skills
∎ Good interpersonal skills with the ability to deal tactfully and build effective relationships with people across levels, both internally and externally
∎ Ability to deal effectively with conflict and confrontation
∎ Good computer skills specifically MS Office as well as familiarity with inter/intranet, Google Drive etc.
∎ Strong verbal and written communication as well as documentation and reporting skills in English and the local language
∎ Proactive and self-motivated
∎ Ability to think on their feet / level-headed / calm personality
∎ Honesty and integrity
∎ Willingness to travel 60% of the time
∎ Victim centric with a high degree of empathy and compassion
Salary: Tk. 50000 - 55000 (Monthly)
