Job Context:
∎ LEDARS is NGO Affairs Bureau affiliated NGO working in the southwest coastal region of Bangladesh since 1998. The southwest coastal region is one of the climate vulnerable area of the country and people are suffering so much. In this context, LEDARS is implementing various project including climate change, Climate Justice, environment conservation, gender, youth development, etc. LEDARS is going to hire a Program Manager in its core position to provide quality input of the program and fund raising. It is the most senior level position and will be key person for program operation and fund raising for the organization. She/he will be fully responsible to ensure proper management of program, development new program and fund raising. Following are the major job requirements of this post.
∎ Job Location: Shyamnagar, Satkhira.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide technical support to team members to smooth operation of program,
∎ Have knowledge of Project Cycle Management (PCM) and development PCM and monitoring frameworks,
∎ Experience in working on climate change, advocacy, gender, environment conservation, WASH and DRR project context,
∎ Have knowledge on development of quality proposal, logical framework, concept note, expression of interest, etc.
∎ Have good experience to communicate to development partners and donor,
∎ Have experience to write periodic report, success story, article, etc.
∎ Have knowledge to capacity development of staff members and stakeholders,
∎ Ensuring effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the program,
∎ Good at in writing and speaking in English,
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ At least 3 years' experience in senior level management and fund raising of a reputed NGO.
∎ She/he should have working experience in participatory program planning, management, monitoring, evaluation and effectively use of PRA tools.
∎ Interested to travel in rural area and stay at least 50% of time in job place.
∎ Applicant who has experience of work in coastal area, climate change and disasters management, will get special priority.
∎ Good knowledge on computer operation including Office software and internet browsing.
∎ Have experience to use social media and other online offline platform.
Salary:
∎ Starting 55,000 Taka. After confirmation 75,000.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Yearly increment, festival bonus and provident funds.
