Education:

• Masters

• Masters in any discipline from any reputed university.

• MPH from a recognized university will be preferable.

• Minimum 5 years of professional experiences in the development sector in any national/international NGO/Government project.

• Minimum 3 years experiences in a Senior Management position, partnership management in any Health and HIV/AIDS program is essential.

• Experiences in the Global Fund HIV Project will be preferable.

Job Context:

Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of the entire human community. DAM has been contributing to the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 35 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. The health & WASH Sector is one of the core sectors of DAM which has also been operating 8 institutions and 17 projects.

DAM Health & WASH Sector is going to recruit a competent and self-motivated individual for the position of “Program Manager” of its “Prioritized HIV prevention services for key populations in Bangladesh, Comprehensive prevention programs for people who inject drugs (PWID) and their partners” Project under DAM Health and WASH Sector funded by The Global Fund.

Job Responsibility:

• Effective and efficient designing, planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating of GF PUD GF7 project activities at the operational level.

• Staff recruitment, staff development and performance management.

• Effective and efficient use of project assets, resources and ensure harm reduction materials.

• Monitoring, supervision, reporting and documentation

• Advocacy, coordination, collaboration, linkages, liaison and Information management

• Check the information part of monthly, quarterly and other reports as per the nature of the project.

• Ensure accuracy, validity and reliabilities of data/information from raw to reporting level.

• Checking and preserving all reports (event, monthly, quarterly, annual etc.) received from the service centers level.

• Coordinating with project staff to ensure different reports in time with relevant information.

• The PM has to maintain regular coordination, collaboration and communication with law enforcing agencies, relevant GoB officials, PR, SR, NGOs, SHGs and other related organizations/stakeholders.

• Review and finalization of monthly, quarterly & annual report.

• He is responsible to oversee the program, finance, monitoring & supervision of all service centers.

• He is responsible for validating the data accuracy in CIS and manually.

• He oversees the target Vs achievement and takes measures of all service centers.

• He is responsible for budget/expenditure monitoring and ensures 100% burn rate where possible.

• He is providing necessary guidance to the Program Officer, Officer-M&E and Officer-F&A to smooth run the project activities.

• He is responsible for ensuring quality reporting and documentation as required.

• He is responsible for ensuring compliance, gender, zero tolerance issues and also follow the organization and project policy/procedures.

• He is responsible for approving bills through verification and validation.

• He is responsible for enhancing the capacity of the project staff both in program and finance.

• To submit an advance monitoring visit plan to the management to insert her valuable suggestions and get maximum output and approve the visit plan of PO, Officer-M&E and Officer-F&A.

• He will work for organizational development purposes.

• He is performing any other assignment given by the line management time to time.
