Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters degree in any discipline
∎ Bachelor or Master's Degree in relevant/appropriate field.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Act as a key liaison between Relief International and government authorities (RRC, CIC, and others), community leaders, and stakeholders.
∎ Accompany or backstop Head of CXB Programs in high-level meetings.
∎ Interpret for expatriate staff and translate documents between Bangla and English.
∎ Provide cultural, situational and media reports and analysis of specific project areas. Ensure close communication with Head of CXB Programs and proactively report issues that might be of interest or concern or might impact effective program implementation.
∎ Handle regular reporting to government offices, seeking approval and permission for program activities and travel authorizations, and ensure positive working relations with the government at all times.
∎ Proactively engage with government and local authorities and facilitate or organize consultations with government or community as required.
∎ Serve as a role model to national staff in CXB field offices in adherence to humanitarian principles and RI Code of Conduct.
∎ Build up networks and coordinate and communicate with other international agencies operating in CXB, to contribute to an overall context analysis.
∎ Represent RI at sector and cluster meetings as requested and share minutes with RI/CXB office.
∎ Support program development opportunities as requested, such as data gathering (particularly
∎ of official sources), or assessments.
∎ Develop communications materials (briefings, pamphlets, newsletters, etc.) for community
∎ relations, donor reports, and funding appeals.
∎ Any other responsibilities as requested by Head of CXB Programs or Country Director.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Proven experience in coordination with local authorities and other stakeholders
∎ Previous experience working in conflict/sensitive areas strongly preferred
∎ Previous experience with IDPs/refugees preferred
∎ Strong analytical skills
∎ Strong computer skills (MS Office)
∎ Willingness to relocate in assigned area
∎ Willingness to make frequent field trips to the field
∎ Ability to work under stressful conditions and working environment
∎ Excellent diplomatic skills and knowledge of the context
∎ Excellent language skills (written and spoken) in both Bangla and English; previous interpretation/ translation experience preferred

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Mobile bill, Medical allowance, Weekly 2 holidays
∎ Salary Review: Yearly
∎ Two festival bonuses in a year equivalent to one basic salary.
∎ Severance (8.33% of the monthly basic salary) goes with the monthly release of the salary.
